Waste Management

EAGLE ENVIRONMENTAL CAN MANAGE YOUR WASTE STREAM REGARDLESS OF VOLUME.

Small volumes receive the same level of attention and service as large waste management volume clients. Our services are designed to address these smaller volumes efficiently and effectively. To this end, Eagle Environmental offers less-than load services to our clients, which means we can cost effectively transport small quantities (i.e., less than a full truckload) of waste containers for individual generators by designing transport routes to service multiple generators on the same load. By sharing transport costs, each generator receives our high level transport services at a competitive rate.

UNIVERSAL WASTE AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

Our organization is a Universal Waste Processor. Universal wastes include batteries, electric lamps, and mercury containing devices. Computer monitors are considered an electric lamp which may be managed as universal waste. Computer CPUs, keyboards, cell phones and other consumer equipment meets the definition of scrap metal and can be recycled. Electric equipment and lamps can contain mercury, silver, lead, cadmium, chromium which are environmental contaminates if not managed appropriately when discarded. Recycling can reduce the risk of future financial liability associated with land disposal.

LABORATORY CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT

Chemical management services have been provided to numerous clients who generate laboratory wastes. These projects typically involve an inventory of chemicals at a facility, segregation into compatibility groups, consideration of chemical materials into larger containers, characterization of materials, lab packing/packaging in accordance with receiving facility and DOT specifications, manifesting, labeling, transportation, and recycling/disposal. All chemical compounds are managed including potentially explosive and reactive materials. Eagle Environmental holds several DOT exemptions to facilitate the shipping of lab packed materials.
